DeFi yield tokens have a monthly cap then a fee. Spending aUSDC or similar yield tokens is free up to $1,200/month, then 0.5% per transaction.

The Virtual card is free with no issuance fee, no monthly fee, and no annual fee. The Metal card costs $199/year for a premium subscription (includes physical metal card, 3% cashback, no FX fees, higher limits). Metal card orders are paused since 2 Jun 2026. Physical card replacement for Metal is $99. Metal subscription auto-renews; full refund available within 14 days of purchase.
Yes, but with limitations. Metal card users and Virtual card users in the United States can withdraw cash from ATMs. Virtual card users in other regions cannot. Metal has up to $1,200/month in free ATM withdrawals (then 2% fee). Virtual card ATM withdrawals incur a 2% fee. ATM operator surcharges may also apply.
When making a purchase, your MetaMask card instantly converts tokens into the local currency. These conversion rates are calculated at the time of transaction. You will also be charged a minimal fee for each transaction. Please see the fees table here.
